About Throckmorton Trials and Industrial Park

Formerly RAF Pershore and also known as Throckmorton Airfield, the airfield now operates as a Business Park and Trials Centre. All the buildings are commercially let, the runways host a variety of activities and hard standing is available for open storage uses. With approximately 320 acres comprising of 3 runways, 2 aprons, 5 hangars, various buildings, a laser range, 4x4 course and vast areas of open space and hard standing, there is something for every requirement.

Centrally located in South Worcestershire, approximately 3.5 miles northeast of Pershore, 7 miles from the City of Worcester and 5 miles from Evesham, with easy access to M5, Junctions 6, 7 and 8 Throckmorton Trials and Industrial Park is an accessible location for Business.

Initially built in 1940’s during the Second World War, RAF Pershore was home to No 23 Operational Training Unit equipped with Wellington bombers. Subsequently, the airfield was home to No 1 Ferry Unit, the Advanced Flying School and the Royal Radar Establishment Flying Unit. The site has more recently been used for Military research and development trials, Police Driver Training, Firework display testing through to the development of laser measurement equipment to quickly assess locations as being suitable for the siting of wind turbines. The property also attracts film and TV work, such as the BBC 2 series Crafty Tricks of War.
